You’re a drowning man, cattle market not relocated, Fintiri’s aide, Kumangar replies Ishaku Abbo

Mr Solomon Kumangar,  Director General media to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state, on Saturday described Ishaku Abbo, the Senator representing, Adamawa north in the Nigerian Senate, as a drowning man desperately in search of relevance from his constituents whom he has disappointed in three years counting to get relief from the impending defeat that awaits him in 2023.

Kumangar, in a statement sent to our correspondent, was reacting to a Facebook post by Ishaku Abbo alleging that Fintiri destroyed the Mubi cattle market by imposing a 5000 naira tax on each cow.

Replying Abbo on Saturday, the director general said the senator has turned himself into a spokesperson of cattle dealers in Adamawa as part of his strategy to woe sympathy for the electorates he has disappointed over the years.

“Abbo knows his tenure in the senate is over, he has been catching straw to win empathy from those that sent him to the senate and he went to disgrace them, but the people know his antics now and he should know his games is up.

“The last time we heard from him he claims that is he grading roads which was not true, now he has jumped into a cattle tax claim.

“For the avoidance of doubts, the cattle tax is not 5000 naira as alleged by Abbo, secondly mubi cattle market is booming as I speak to you and finally only 3000 naira is paid for a cattle going outside the state and no kobo is paid for cattle sold within the state Kumangar stated, “Ishaku Abbo is a drowning man,  looking for where to perch.”
