The Court of Appeal in Yola will tomorrow deliver judgment in an appeal instituted by candidates of the All-Progressive Congress (APC) in Adamawa, Messrs Aishatu Dahiru and Nuhu Ribadu seeking to quash the Federal High Court judgement, Yola nullifying the primary that produces Aishatu Dahiru as the gubernatorial candidate of the party in Adamawa state.
The appellate court is to deliver the make-or-mar verdict tomorrow morning, as contained in a notice communicated to the legal team and the Independent electoral commission.
Messrs Aishatu Binani and Nuhu Ribadu had faulted the judgement of Justice Anka of a Federal High Court, Yola, which nullify the primary that produce Aishatu Dahiru.
Dahiru had prayed to the Court of Appeal to quash the judgement nullifying her candidature as the governorship candidate of the APC in Adamawa and declare her the winner.
Justice Tani Yusuf, who led a three-man panel of justices that heard the appeal, had reserved judgment.
