Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta resigns as ADSU Vice-Chancellor.

The current Vice Chancellor of the Adamawa State University, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, has resigned from her appointment. The Chairman of the Institution’s Governing Council, Hon. Awwal D. Tukur told reporters in Yola that the VC had given him her letter of resignation, which would take effect on December 31, 2022.

He, however, stated that the Council has unanimously approved the appointment of Dr Stephen A. Lagu, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Administration, as Acting VC pending the process of selecting the next substantive Vice-Chancellor.

Hon. Auwal said that their relationship with Professor Farauta was friendly and cordial. He also said that the Council was still thankful to her for the great work she did and the stability she gave the institution.
