2023: Drop your ambition for Dauda Nyampa, group tells Kwada alias “De Police.”

A pressure group, the Dauda Nyampa Support Network (DNSN), has called on the suspended member representing Michika state constituency in the Adamawa state House of Assembly, Joseph Kwada alias de police, to discontinue his quest for the house of representatives and support the aspiration of  Dauda Zakaria Nyampa.

It said that the call came from the need to treat Michika and Madagali fairly. It also said that it was Nyampa’s turn to be sent back to the green chamber of the national assembly for another term.

But DNSN, in a statement by its Media and Communications Committee members, comprising Vandusuwe Kwanye, Alhaji Kabir Garba, Grabirel Mada, Mr Marcel Yusuf Michika, and Comrade Sani Saeed, said Kawada should consider the interests of Michika/Madagali and step down.

The statement reads: “We write on behalf of our members across Mcihika/Madagali to call on you, our leader, Joseph Kawada, to seize the moment and show again the leadership you ably demonstrated in 2019 when you rose above primordial considerations to choose the state house of assembly instead of vying for a national position that will bring you and the people to ridicule.”

“Step down and your name will go down in history as Michika’s most inspiring house of representative ticket of all time, which in our view was an unfairly denied victory.”

“Regardless of the foregoing, our relationship with you will last forever, and for the record, all of us in DNSN were agitated and obligated in 2019. Hence, for us, you are part of and indeed the head of our family.

The APC has zoned its 2023 House of Representatives ticket to Michika, so an experienced politician and veteran who is familiar with the workings of the chamber, not a newcomer, must represent the interests of the people of Michika/madagali.To do otherwise would be working against equity and fairness and inviting avoidable litigation. the group thought
