2023 Elections: Fintiri Will Win By 12 Noon On Saturday, Says APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress says the people’s democratic party’s governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Umaru Fintiri, will power to victory by noon on Saturday, pinning his argument on what he described as the PDP’s “hard work.”

“My optimism tells me that by the first ballot, Umaru Fintiri will win straight. My analyses give me that optimism and show the level of hard work some of us have put in. We will be shocked that by 12 noon, it will be clear that PDP has won in Adamawa,” he said on Monday, while he was featured in an interview with The Finder in Abuja. “I am telling you what I have analysed.”

While voting officially ends by 2:30 pm, Mohammed Ahmed Turaki, the Head of Grassroots Mobilization for the All Progressive Congress in the northeast, says before then, Fintiri would have cleared the polls.

“By noon, you will know that Fintiri has won.” “It may not be official, but you will know now when there is a trend,” he said.

“My advice to the governor is that the election is between him and the betrayers called aides who are around complaining about not financing them. From my personal investigation, most of the governor’s aides complaining about money are those who want to divert it into their pockets and not fight for the governor, most of them don’t have the governor’s interest at heart; they are after parochial interests.

“I advise the governor to watch his aides carefully as most of them that have itchy palms for money are his opponents, not Binani.”

“By 2:30 pm, when voting ends, it is just to collate. If you are in a polling unit, for instance, and you see the trend and you have canvassers, information would have gotten to you,” Turaki maintained.

He says that, based on how excited Nigerians have been so far, voting should end early on Saturday.
