CSO group urges Binani to apologise to Fintiri and drop the court petition.

The Adamawa United Assembly demanded on Friday that All-Progressive Congress candidate Aishatu Dahiru Binani apologise to Adamawa State Governor Fintiri and withdraw her petition from the election petition tribunal in light of the recent Supreme Court ruling on the Osun elections.

In particular, they criticised the APC and its candidates for trying to fool themselves into going to court too quickly, despite the fact that their petition to the tribunal is devoid of the burden of proof and that no amount of propaganda could give their empty hearsay documents any substance.

The group’s leader, Abubakar Usman Aji, recently told reporters in Abuja that the APC owes an apology to Fintiri after the Supreme Court’s ruling in Osun rule that non complaince in election must be proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the allegations of non-use of BVAS and over-voting made by the APC cannot be substantiated.

The APC did indeed run away in fear of the results of the Adamawa governorship election, as he predicted.

Usman said, “We call on Binani to issue a public apology to the people of Adamawa for her deception to deliver acceptance speech, knowing full well that the process has not been completed and that the rogue REC, Hudu Yunusa, lacks the authority to declare a victor in any election.

We think going to court will reveal the stench coming from the chicken’s buttocks, so I’m urging Binani to spare herself further shame and ridicule by dropping the petition right away.
