Fintiri swears in Tukur as new SSG.

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri swore in the new Secretary to the Government of Adamawa State, Awwal Bamanga Tukur, on Tuesday in the council chambers of the Adamawa State Government House in Yola.

 

On the Wednesday before last, Mr. Tukurs, a former representative and a People’s Democratic Party figure, was selected to oversee the state’s bureaucratic operations on behalf of the Fintiri-led administration.

 

The new SSG, succeeding Bashir Ahmad, has sworn both the Pledge of Allegiance and the Oath of Office.

The deputy governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, and other government officials attended the brief occasion.

The governor also swore in Dr. Amos Edgar as chief of staff and Afraimo Jingi as justice commissioner.
