Fintiri congratulates Nuhu Ribadu on his appointment as the president’s security adviser.

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has praised the president’s newly designated security adviser. Nuhu Ribadu, Mallam.

In a statement issued on Friday by the governor’s principal press secretary, Humwashi Wonosoiku, the governor stated that with the appointment of Malam Nuhu Ribadu, he has made history by becoming the first Adamawa son to hold the office since the return of democracy in 1999.

Governor Fintiri urged Malam Nuhu Ribadu to use his position to advocate for Adamawa’s development and Nigeria’s security concerns.

“At a time of great change and the challenge of addressing security concerns, the appointment of Ribadu, a former EFCC Chair, is highly significant and supported by many, particularly the people of Adamawa State.”

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri described the new Presidential Adviser as a remarkable son of Adamawa State, saying his commitment to the growth and development of Adamawa and Nigeria is well recognised and respected.

“I have no doubt in my mind that Malam Nuhu Ribadu has the drive, dedication to duty, and professionalism to rise to the responsibilities of the position,” he said.

“Congratulations, Nigeria is proud of your achievement, and I wish you a successful tenure,” said the governor.
