Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, governor of Adamawa State, sends his best wishes to Muslims on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, the holiday marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The governor was quoted as saying, “On this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, I extend warm greetings and felicitations to all Muslims in Adamawa State, Nigeria, and around the world; may this celebration bring you peace, happiness, and blessings.” The statement was released by the governor’s chief press secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.
Governor Fintiri used the occasion to call on Muslims in Adamawa State to strengthen their commitment to peace, unity, and harmonic coexistence. Let us remember that kindness, generosity, and tolerance are the bedrock of our great nation.
Our state is known for its rich cultural heritage and diversity, and it is through unity and cooperation that we can achieve even greater heights,” Governor Fintiri said, appealing to all Muslims to offer fervent prayers for the peace and development of Adamawa State during this time of reflection and gratitude.
For national harmony and development, he urged Muslims to offer prayers for Nigeria. Let us pray for Allah to keep Adamawa State as peaceful as it is, and that our prayers would aid in the growth and prosperity of Nigeria as a whole.
