Governor Fintiri enacts  225 billion Naira 2024 Budget.

Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa State, has signed into law the 225 billion naira budget for 2024.

Umaru Fintiri, the state’s governor, has promised to utilise the funds to carry out his campaign promises.

During his second time in office, Governor Umaru Fintiri submitted and voted into law the “re-engineering budget”—the first budget of its kind.

Umaru Fintiri, flanked by his deputy, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, the speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, and other government functionaries, believes that the budget will bring more development to the people of Adamawa in the coming year.

The governor extended his gratitude to the House of Assembly members for their tireless work in implementing the budget projections that were presented to them in December 2023.

The entire budget for 2024 is allocated to transformation, which the governor refers to as his administration’s “signature sector,” accounting for 51% of that total. Revitalising the construction sector is its intended objective.

A billion-naira project would be distributed to each of the twenty-one councils in 2024, according to the governor.
