School feeding: Presidential aide commends Tinubu on N100bn allocation.
School Feeding Programme (SFP) Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu Dr. Yetunde Adeniji has praised President Tinubu for including N100 billion in the SFP budget for 2024.
On Tuesday, Adeniji remarked that the President’s N100 billion commitments demonstrated his empathy for the children of the underprivileged in the country, according to a statement by Mr. Olumobi Adewale from the office of the SSA in Abuja.
The N28.7 trillion 2024 budget, which President Bola Tinubu signed into law, includes N100 billion for the school feeding initiative as one instance of empathy and compassion, according to the statement.
“It shows how committed Mr. President is to helping the Nigerian people and improving their lives.”
She went on to praise the president’s unwavering leadership in Nigeria, praising his vitality, strength, capacity, empathy, and compassion.
I am deeply grateful to the president for his forward-thinking decision to revive the school feeding programme (SFP).
Taking kids off the streets and boosting the economy of the neighbourhoods where these schools are located are two of the most important goals of these initiatives.
Furthermore, she emphasised that the effort was highly valued, as evidenced by the large funding allocated in the 2024 budget.
Nevertheless, Adeniji reassured President Tinubu and the people of Nigeria that the funds will be wisely used to implement the president’s vision of renewed optimism.
