Without Coalition, Tinubu Will Spend Eight Years As President – Bwala
On Tuesday, Daniel Bwala, a high-ranking member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made the bold prediction that in the general elections of 2027, the various opposition political factions will unite to form a formidable coalition capable of deposing the current ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
President Bola Tinubu will serve eight years as President of Nigeria and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, according to Bwala, unless a coalition of opposition parties forms.
Tinubu will waste the next eight years trying to form a political coalition. Bwala assured that one to be certain.
In reality, an extremely powerful coalition of political parties is inevitable. I am aware of this fact. He promised that the incoming coalition would “swallow” the problematic aspects of several political groups.
During the show, Bwala claimed that Tinubu was responsible for the troubles experienced by the Labour Party and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), two opposition groups.
The PDP leader has spoken out against the situation in the oil-rich Rivers State, where there has been talk of a rift between the current governor Siminalayi Fubara and the former governor Nyesom Wike, who is now a minister in the APC-run federal government.
A group of twenty-seven lawmakers who had been faithful to Wike defected to the APC a few weeks ago, prompting the PDP to demand their removal from office.
Fubara, Wike, and former governor Peter Odili were among those in attendance during President Tinubu’s meeting with Rivers State stakeholders at the Presidential Villa, which was part of the methods to settle the deadlock. The recommendation included keeping the MPs who were engaging in cross-carpeting in the House of Assembly.
Bwala immediately responded by predicting the governor’s removal from office and saying that the governor had already fallen into the trap that had been prepared for him. Bwala asked for prayers for the governor, but he did not say who had laid the trap for Fubara.
You need only pray for that governor, he added, regarding Rivers. It is completely unclear to the governor what is going on. The outcome will be revealed by the passage of time.
You can only hope for the best for him if he claims that’s the road he’s chosen.
