Fintiri Appoints New Board for Adamawa Muslims Pilgrim Board.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has approved a new board for the Adamawa State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, the Adamawa State government house media directorate has said.

In a statement on Monday, the chief press secretary to the governor, Humwashi Wonosoiku, said the ten-member board was selected among prominent citizens of the state.

While Alhaji Umaru Bappari Kem will serve as the board’s chairman, others will serve as members.

“The Governor charges the new appointees to consider their appointment as an opportunity to serve the state and, as such, wholly commit themselves to this important purpose,” Wonosoiku said.

Other members of the board included Abubakar Kaja,Umar Mohammed Yaro,Ibrahim Danmama Umar,Dr. Bashir Aliyu,Gidado Liman,Kabiru Mustapha,Aliyu Ibrahim,Alhaji Shehu Baba, and Suleiman Aliyu Bello
