Gov. Fintiri denounces a fraudulent Twitter account.

The fake Twitter account associated with the persona of Adamwa state governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has been shut down.The account’s user, who has yet to be identified, made horrible public statements using his identity.

Humwashi Wonosoiku, the governor’s chief press secretary, signed a statement in which the governor made the following announcement:.

“I have discovered that some unscrupulous individuals sought to deceive the people by inventing a fake Twitter handle called @AhamduFintiri,” Governor Fintiri stated.

He cautioned people not to engage with any accounts claiming to be him on Twitter and emphasised that @GovernorAUF is his only verified and genuine handle.

The governor emphasised that this conduct was both irresponsible and intended to distribute misleading and tainted information to the public.

The governor of Adamawa, Fintiri, has urged the people to keep a lookout for troublemakers who may disrupt the state’s current tranquilly and derail its recent success.He insisted that every comment that does not originate from his official channels must be thoroughly scrutinised.

The governor urged the public to avoid the imposter’s Twitter account and instead follow @GovernorAUF for up-to-date, legitimate information on his actions.

He strongly recommends Twitter users to always try to verify Twitter usernames before responding to any type of message, and he cautions against responding to specific messages.
