Supreme Court: Governor Fintiri receives hero’s welcome as massive crowd storms Yola streets.

The governor of Adaamawa State, Umaru Ahmadu Fintiri, received a hero’s welcome from thousands of Adamawa sons and daughters who came out to celebrate his Supreme Court triumph.

In what they characterised as a celebration of “four years of remarkable strides,” Adamawa indigenes and residents flocked to the streets on Friday to cheer the governor back home after the Supreme Court validated his victory.

With loud cheers, the ecstatic citizens heaped praise on the governor on his achievements in office, with several clans performing cultural dances amid the dense crowd that crowded the streets.

Before Fintiri arrived in Yola, the state capital, a multitude of citizens had gathered on the route connecting the government house road to congratulate him on successfully courting Vixory.

They gathered by the roadside to thank Fintiri, claiming he had transformed Adamawa beyond their hopes during his first time in government.

Some of the locals who spoke after Fintiri’s convoy stopped to meet them claimed the governor had left an indelible trace of accomplishments in the region of beauty.

Meanwhile, Governor Fintiri extended his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Adamawa State in general for their kind reception of him.

The governor, joined by his deputy, Prof. Kalepyapwa Farauta, urged state inhabitants to support him in his second term to ensure the state’s continuous progress and transformation.

“I am overjoyed by this outpouring of thanks, pleasure, and love. It demonstrates the impact our government has had on the lives of Adamawa residents. I respectfully render all thanks and worship to Almighty God.

He alone is responsible for everything we can claim as a government to have accomplished while in power. Without His assistance, we would both have been helpless. Governor stated.
