Protecting Governor Fintiri’s legacy, a must for everyone – Dogo

Victor Dogo, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s principal personal assistant for social mobilisation, says, “The task of maintaining and preserving government’s projects, programmes, and policies is as a work for all.”

The governor’s aide sponsored a one-day conference with the theme “Improving the sustainability of projects, programmes, and policies through collaborative engagement with non-state actors.”

Dogo added: “The government and its officials cannot handle this collaborative and supportive work alone; therefore, everyone’s contribution is essential.”

He also regarded the challenge of maintaining and safeguarding the government’s programmes and policies as a collaborative effort.

“Dr. Victor Dogo praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his developmental achievements, calling him as a godsend who has arrived to save Adamawa State from its state of underdevelopment.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, represented by his deputy, Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta, congratulated the seminar’s organiser on organising a respectable and effective event that directly touches the lives of the state’s residents.

The governor stated that the government cannot handle the responsibility of policy protection alone. The event will look into new ways to preserve and protect Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s legacy.

Professor Kaletapwa proposed numerous government initiatives for consideration, including free education, high-quality healthcare, and infrastructure improvements.

She asserted that these efforts had a substantial impact on the lives of the state’s residents, emphasising the significance of their continued implementation.

Participants from all walks of life convened at the Government House Banquet Hall on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, to discuss creative means of preserving the governor’s legacy, with the goal of ensuring their continuity and protection due to their considerable impact.

Prof. Julius Drambi, Dr. Victor Sunday Kwambuge, and Dr. El-Maude Jibril, the trio, also spoke in support of the governor’s development initiatives, particularly in education, health, infrastructure, and gender equality.

As a result, they urged all state residents, particularly non-governmental groups, to collaborate with the government in order to propel the state to greater heights.

The highlight of the event was the presenting of awards to certain renowned individuals for their contributions to the maintenance of government projects.
