Akwa Ibom community confers title on Kumangar

Under the auspices of “Ibom Friends of Adamawa and Taraba,” the Akwa Ibom community in Adamawa bestowed the chieftaincy title of “Obong Efiok” to Mr. Solomon Kumangar, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry for Information and Strategy.

Ibom leaders from Adamawa State’s 21 council districts attended the title, which translates as “man of wisdom.”

The group leader stated that the occasion, which took place at Ribadu Square, represented another watershed moment in Akwa Ibom’s history, as they watched another year of tremendous transformation.

He highlighted the significance of unity among different ethnic groups for the country’s progress.

The Obong Nditi II highlighted the significance of peace, stating that without it, no society can develop.

Mr. Solomon Kumangar responded by thanking the paramount ruler of Akwa Ibom and his council for selecting them for the posts.

He reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the kingdom and offered to contribute their wealth of experience to the development of the chiefdom, Adamawa State, and Nigeria in general.
