MAU VC, Adamawa Nursing Provost, Receives IBDM Fellowship Award
The Vice Chancellor of Modibbo Adamawa University in Yola and the Provost of Adamawa State College for Nursing and Midwifery have joined the prestigious Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM).
While presenting the honour to Professor Ibrahim Umar, Dr. Lami Aminu, and the other twenty newly inducted fellows, the institution’s President, Dr. Gado Shehu, represented by Prof. Ibrahim Danjuma, stated that Fellows of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM) are distinguished Nigerians who have excelled in leadership and management and aspire to make meaningful contributions to Nigeria’s growth and development.
He went on to say that the Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management is one of the most prestigious awards given to any creative and inventive leader and manager in Nigeria.
The Special Guest of Honour, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, praised the event’s organisers for keeping members up to date on new developments and technologies.
She noted that professional development is vital, especially for those in academic settings. “If you want to remain relevant in whatever you are doing, you need to keep in tune with the new techniques and technologies.”
Ibrahim and Aminu expressed gratitude for being named Fellows of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM).
