Dangote refinery reduces gasoline prices for marketers.
On Sunday, oil marketers were informed by the Dangote Petroleum Refinery that the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, will be reduced to ₦970 per litre.
Anthony Chiejina, the chief branding and communications officer of the organisation, made the announcement public.
He said the refinery took the choice to show its appreciation to the people of Nigeria for their constant support throughout the project’s development.
The announcement claims that this is a reduction from the refinery’s previously declared ex-depot price of ₦990.
“Furthermore, we would like to express our gratitude to the government for their support. Their actions will enhance the current initiatives aimed at promoting domestic enterprise, which will ultimately benefit all of us,” the statement partially stated.
We guarantee you the highest quality, most eco-friendly, long-lasting petroleum products, and the refinery will never skimp on quality.
“There will be no shortage because we will not rest until we have increased production to meet or exceed our domestic fuel consumption.”
Marketers will be able to save around ₦20 every litre of gasoline purchased from the facility in Lekki thanks to the cut.
