Fintiri appoints seven new emirs
Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, governor of Adamawa State, has appointed seven new emirs in the state.
The appointment comes a few weeks after he assent to a bill to create seven new emirates in Adamawa.
The new emirs are HRH Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu, Emir of Fufore; -HRH Barrister Alheri B. Nyako: Tol Huba; -HRH Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga: Mbege Ka Michika, -HRH Dr Ali Danburam (MBBS, FWACP, FCCP): Ptil Madagali, -HRH Aggrey Ali: Kumu of Gombi, -HRH Ahmadu Saibaru: Emir of Maiha, -HRH John Dio: Gubo Yungur
Humwashi Wonosoiku, the governor’s press secretary, said the new emirs would receive their letters of appointment and staff offices soon.
