Tinubu celebrates 73rd birthday today, seeks spiritual direction.

President Bola Tinubu will join fellow Muslims at the National Mosque in Abuja on Friday for a special prayer session to commemorate his 73rd birthday, which falls on Saturday.

“He will also use this occasion to thank God for preserving and supporting him in the onerous task of piloting the nation’s affairs,” Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, said in a statement issued Thursday.

The message was captioned “President Tinubu to Mark 73rd Birthday with Special Prayer at the Abuja National Mosque.”

President Tinubu’s birthday is during the holy month of Ramadan, two months before his administration’s second anniversary.

Onanuga stated, “On this special day, the President would devote himself to spiritual thought and supplication for Nigeria’s ongoing peace, progress, and prosperity.

“President Tinubu’s decision to hold a prayer session demonstrates his devotion to Nigeria’s spiritual and moral well-being, as well as his desire for supernatural guidance, insight, and strength in leadership. He believes that collective prayer is an effective tool for directing the nation towards progress and unity.

President Tinubu asked the public to join the prayer session in spirit, giving prayers at their places of worship or wherever they were, reinforcing a national commitment to unity and shared destiny.”

According to the statement, the President is grateful to Nigerians for their steadfast support and goodwill as his administration works diligently to promote economic reforms, strengthen national security, and increase opportunities for all residents.

“I am profoundly grateful to Allah for the gift of life and the opportunity to serve this magnificent nation. As I celebrate another birthday and prepare for our second anniversary, my heart is full of renewed hope for Nigeria.

“I encourage all Americans to pray for divine direction, unity, and healing for our country. “We will overcome challenges and build a nation in which every citizen thrives,” he said.

The President underlined his commitment to consolidating democratic accomplishments, encouraging economic recovery, and strengthening national unity.

As a result, he encouraged residents to remain consistent in their belief in Nigeria’s destiny as a light of hope for Africa.
