Adamawa APC elections reflect growing confidence in party leadership-Dr Girei

Dr Salihu Bakari Girei has congratulated newly elected executives of the All Progressives Congress across ward, local government and state levels in Adamawa State, describing their emergence as a reflection of trust and confidence from party members.

In a statement released on Sunday, Girei said the outcome of the party elections demonstrated a commitment to democratic values and internal cohesion within the APC, noting that the process was both transparent and credible.

He said the success of the new executives was not only a personal achievement but also a call to responsibility, urging them to strengthen unity and uphold the integrity of the party at all levels.

According to him, the conduct of the elections further showed the determination of the party leadership to sustain internal democracy and build a more cohesive structure across its ranks.

Girei called on the newly elected officials to remain committed to the party’s core principles, including discipline, loyalty, inclusiveness and service, adding that their roles would be critical in mobilising grassroots support and promoting development in the state and across Nigeria.

He also commended party members and supporters for maintaining peace throughout the electoral process, saying their conduct reflected a shared commitment to democratic ideals.

Girei reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and pledged continued support for the party’s leadership as it seeks to consolidate its presence in Adamawa.
