In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosoiku, the state government said the changes were part of ongoing efforts by the administration to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across ministries and agencies.
The affected cabinet members are Mr. Joab Sahma, Commissioner for Lands and Survey, who has been redeployed to the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, while Dr. John Ishaya Dabari moves from the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry to the Ministry of Lands and Survey.
“The redeployments are intended to create new vigour and vitality for service delivery, which has been the hallmark of our administration,” Governor Fintiri said.
The governor urged the two commissioners to continue giving their best in their new assignments, stressing the need for renewed commitment in advancing the vision of the administration.
He also called on them to implement policies and programmes that would directly improve the lives of the people of Adamawa State.
