He said that although Saidu’s tenure was brief, his leadership had demonstrated considerable promise and a commitment to improving the welfare of the people of Fufore.

The governor said the death was particularly painful because it came at a time when the chairman was beginning to implement his plans for the local government area.

He extended his condolences to Saidu’s family, the people of Fufore, political associates and others affected by his death.

“On behalf of my family, the Government and the good people of Adamawa State, I extend my deepest condolences to his immediate family, the people of Fufore Local Government Area, his friends and political associates over this painful loss,” Fintiri said.

The governor prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, grant him Aljannah Firdaus and give his family and the people of Adamawa State the strength to bear the loss.
