Adamawa 2027: Galadima pledges continuity of Fintiri’s policies
Tijjani Aminu Galadima, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Adamawa State, has pledged to sustain the policies, programmes and projects of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri if elected in 2027.
Galadima made the commitment during a meeting at which he commended the governor’s leadership and development initiatives, describing his achievements as significant contributions to the progress of the state.
Addressing Fintiri, the governorship candidate expressed appreciation for convening the meeting and acknowledged what he described as the governor’s broad and practical vision for Adamawa.
“Sir, you have put our state on a high pedestal. We are all grateful to you for what you have done in our state,” Galadima said.
He stressed that his political ambition was anchored on continuity rather than a departure from the policies and development agenda of the current administration.
“We are coming for continuity in your policies. We are coming for continuity in your programmes. We are coming for continuity in your projects,” he declared.
Galadima’s remarks appeared designed to reassure the governor and his supporters that a change in leadership would not necessarily result in the abandonment of ongoing government initiatives.
He also emphasised political solidarity, saying his ambition was not driven by opposition to the existing leadership but by a shared political direction.
“We are not coming from opposition parties. We are coming from the same party. We are taking the same path,” he said.
The APC candidate further assured the governor that his contributions to the state would continue to receive recognition.
“I want to assure you that we will not leave you behind,” he stated.
Galadima thanked participants at the meeting for their support and expressed optimism that their political cooperation would translate into electoral success.
“And we pray and hope that we translate that support into victory in 2027,” he said.
His remarks place continuity of the Fintiri administration’s development agenda at the centre of his stated political commitments ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
