Adamawa Information Commissioner Salutes Gov. Fintiri, First Lady on Birthday, Praises Their Dedication to Adamawa’s Progress.
The Adamawa State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Iliya James, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and his wife, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, on the occasion of their birthday, describing them as exemplary figures whose shared commitment to service and compassion continues to inspire the people of the state.
In a congratulatory message issued Friday in Yola, James lauded the governor’s visionary leadership, inclusive governance, and transformative impact on Adamawa’s development since assuming office. He also commended the First Lady for her compassion, advocacy for women and children, and contributions to social welfare through various empowerment initiatives.
“On behalf of the Ministry of Information and Strategy and the good people of Adamawa State, I heartily felicitate His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and Her Excellency Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri as they celebrate their birthday,” James said. “Your Excellencies, your shared dedication to the progress and wellbeing of Adamawa people reflects true partnership in leadership and service.”
The commissioner praised Governor Fintiri for prioritizing peace, education, and youth empowerment, which he said have changed the narrative of the state and rekindled hope among citizens. He noted that the administration’s investments in public schools, road infrastructure, and healthcare delivery have improved living standards across the 21 local government areas.
“Under your guidance, Adamawa has become a model of good governance in the Northeast,” James added. “Your investment in education and peacebuilding has restored confidence in our communities and strengthened unity across the state.”
James also acknowledged the First Lady’s humanitarian role, describing her as “a pillar of support to the governor and a mother to the state,” whose initiatives continue to touch lives across rural and urban communities.
