Yowican President bags 2018 Peace and Dialogue Award

    Engr Daniel has been conferred with PEACE and DIALOGUE award 2018. The conferment which took place at Sheraton Hotels, Abuja was done by The UFUK Dialogue Foundation. The Foundation, established to promote peace, understanding and dialogue across cultures and religions around the world, The ceremony was witnessed by the Governor of Yobe State, Ibrahim Gaidam,Minister of Foreign affairs Mr Geoffrey Onyeaka, Hajiya Kyari and host of other dignitaries. While receiving the award, Kadzi promised that Yowican will remain a peace loving organization. The foundation eulogizes Engr. Daniel, the National President of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) for his role in peace building in Nigeria. The award was presented to him by the National Security Adviser (NSA), Major Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd).  The multiple award winning President was elected the National President of YOWICAN, an office which gives him the portfolio of leading all the Christian Youths in Nigeria. Engr. Daniel Kadzai has had the privilege of being to every part of the country, interacting with all kinds of people from various religious backgrounds, beliefs, cultures & traditions. He has mobilized Nigerian Christian youth for political involvement in Nigeria and has designed strategies for enabling Christian youths get Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) for the various Local Government Areas (LGAs), State and national elections. Kadzi was a member of the in-house mediation team of the New Nigeria Project (NNP) that mediated and settled the crisis between the Arewa Youth Faction and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the face-off of the threat to repatriate people of Igbo origin of Northern Nigeria.
