THE ADAMAWA WE KNOW

The special assistant to Adamawa State Governor on press affairs, Mr. Martins Dickson has described Adamawa State as failed state before the advent of Gov. Bindow’s tenure, in a statement itemized and sent to The Finder Newspaper, the Governor’s aide describe Adamawa State infrastructure very embarrassing filled with potholes which disgraces every residents of the State before Bindow took over the mantle of leadership.

1. The Adamawa we know use to have very embarrassing potholes which disgraces every resident from the Yola international Airport down to the police roundabout untill Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow came to the rescue by reconstructing the road thereby covering our shame.

 

2. The Adamawa we know also had deadly potholes from the police roundabout to Yola town dotted at different points untill Bindow expanded the road and reconstructed it.

 

3. The Adamawa we know had a dangerous portion along Atiku Abubakar way towards target junction, filled with gullies as potholes and impassable untill Bindow reconstructed that portion with adequate drainages, it is now one of the beautiful roads to ride on in the state capital.

 

4. The Adamawa we know had a very narrow, pothole filled road from Jippu Jam roundabout to Upper Benue junction in Yola South untill Bindow expanded and reconstructed it, it is now a delight to ride on.

 

5. The Adamawa we know had a bad road from Jippu Jam roundabout to the Yola – Town market and beyond untill Bindow reconstructed it.

 

6. The Adamawa we know had a failed road from Jippu Jam gate towards Abuja road in Yola-Town that connects at Wuro-Hausa untill Bindow reconstructed it.

 

7. The Adamawa we know had no passable road from Abuja road to Damare in Yola-Town untill Bindow constructed it.

 

8. The Adamawa we know had no passable road to Yolde-Pate in Yola-Town untill Bindow constructed an asphalted road to Yolde-Pate.

 

9. The Adamawa we know had a roughly patched roundabout at Jippu Jam in Yola-Town untill Bindow constructed one of the most beautiful roundabouts in Northern Nigeria given the historic town a beautiful scenery.

 

10. The Adamawa we know had no single asphalted road in Jambutu untill Bindow constructed 5 road networks.

 

11. The Adamawa we know had no single asphalted road at Wauru-Jebbe untill Bindow constructed 3 road networks.

 

12. The Adamawa we know had no road to Shelleng Local Government Area for over 40 years, untill Bindow constructed it.

 

13. The Adamawa we know had a single failed road into Guyuk town untill Bindow constructed and networked the town with asphalted roads.

 

14. The Adamawa we know had failed roads in Numan town of Numan local Government Area untill Bindow constructed a network of 3 roads and 1 roundabout.

 

15. The Adamawa we know had a failed General Hospital at Numan Local Government Area untill Bindow constructed a brand new hospital complex now at 97% completion.

 

16. The Adamawa we know had a Villanova Secondary School with Collapsed classrooms, collapsed hostels and collapsed examination hall untill Bindow reconstructed the buildings, provided desks and chairs, beddings, laboratory reagents and textbooks for staff and students.

 

17. The Adamawa we know had collapsed classrooms and collapsed examination hall at Government Secondary School Demsa at Demsa Local Government Area untill Bindow reconstructed the buildings and provided desks and chairs, textbooks for both students and teachers and laboratory reagents.

 

18. The Adamawa we know had no passable road from Demsa town through Tassala to kwaine in Demsa Local Government Area untill Bindow constructed a rural road through these communities.

 

19. The Adamawa we know had failed roads in Ganye town of Ganye Local Government Area untill Bindow constructed a network of roads in Ganye town.

 

20. The Adamawa we know had no passable byepass in Ngurore town untill Bindow constructed an asphalted byepass through Ngurore town linking Ngurore-Mayobelwa road.

 

21. The Adamawa we know had very few asphalted road Mubi township but now Mubi town is networked with asphalted roads in almost all it’s nook and crannies.

 

22. The Adamawa we know had so many collapsed buildings at Government Technical College in Mubi, untill Bindow constructed the buildings, provided desks and chairs, beddings, laboratory reagents, textbooks for both students and staff.

 

23. The Adamawa we know had collapsed and abandoned buildings at Government Secondary School Mubi untill Bindow reconstructed the buildings, provided desks and chairs, laboratory reagents, beddings, textbooks for both staff and students.

 

24. The Adamawa we know had collapsed and abandoned administrative block at Government Secondary School Hong, in addition to collapsed hostels, collapsed classrooms, collapsed examination hall untill Bindow reconstructed and equipped the administrative block, provided desks and chairs, laboratory reagents, beddings, textbooks for both staff and students.

 

25. The Adamawa we know had a failed road in Gombi town of Gombi Local Government Area untill Bindow constructed the Gombi byepass road which is ongoing.

 

26. The Adamawa we know had an ancient bridge made of wood in Song town of Song Local Government Area untill Bindow constructed a 4 span Bridge in Song.

 

27. The Adamawa we know had no road from Girei to Pariya in Girei Local Government Area untill Bindow constructed it, it is still ongoing.

 

28. The Adamawa we know had a failed road from Girei 1 to Girei 2 in Girei Local Government Area, untill Bindow constructed an asphalted road linking Girei 1 and Girei 2.

 

29. The Adamawa we know had a failed road leading into Viniklang in Girei Local Government Area untill Bindow constructed an asphalted road into Viniklang.

 

30. The Adamawa we know had a failed road at Demsawo in Yola North Local Government Area untill Bindow constructed a network of asphalted roads at Demsawo.

 

31. The Adamawa we know had failed roads at the Shinko area of Yola-North Local Government Area untill Bindow constructed a network of asphalted roads in Shinko and Rumde Area.

 

32. The Adamawa we know had a destroyed cottage hospital at Maiha Local Government Area untill Bindow reconstructed the hospital and equipped it fully.

 

33. The Adamawa we know had a poorly equipped theater at the Specialist Hospital Yola untill Bindow reconstructed the theatre and equipped it with Modern equipment.

 

34. The Adamawa we know had a collapsed and abandoned Oral Rehydration Therapy (ORT) Centre at the Specialist Hospital Yola untill Bindow reconstructed the ORT department and equipped it fully.

 

35. The Adamawa we know had a failed road at the ancient Clark Quarters untill a network of asphalted roads were constructed by Bindow.

 

36. The Adamawa we know had no passable road to Borrong untill Bindow constructed a rural road from Labondo to Borrong.

 

37. The Adamawa we know use to have a failed portion of the road from the Airport roundabout (Roundabout mai doki) to Jambutu junction untill Bindow reconstructed and asphalted the road.
