‘APC made mistake presenting Binta for second term in Adamawa North’

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will regret nominating Senator Binta Garba Masi for a second term in office, the Chairman Adamawa United for Change, Dasin in Adamawa state, has said.

He said that, given the performance of the Senator, the APC should have presented an alternative to Adamawa North for the 2019 National assembly election.

 

The season politician, who is also founder of one of Gov. Bindow campaign group told newsmen in Yola on the state of Adamawa northern zone.

He said that the Senator has disappointed her constituents, stressing that Binta had not done things to improve the life of her constituents.

Dasin said “honestly, I don’t know why APC presented Binta again. I am for Bindow and Buahri, but I think that APC would have nominated another person for the office of the Senator in Adamawa north.

“Under Binta, poverty, unemployment and the character her constituents described as “I don’t care attitude”, since the inception of democracy Adamawa north has never produce any senator that succeeded in his second term ambition, couple with her attitude of flaring up at the peace meeting organized between her and other members of the party that feel aggrieved after she was nominated unopposed by the national leadership of our party and the allege vituperation of the Senator towards people that is suppose to help her is her undoing.

it will be recall that in a 3 minutes video, Binta was seen in a shouting march with one of the aggrieved aspirant during the recent Apc reconciliation meeting organized by the party.

The recent name of some the called beneficiary of her empowerment program touted by Binta is been questioned as many people in the list has denied ever been empower by the Senator. At this point, Binta need miracle to win in 2019. The dearth of constituency project by Binta in the Northern Zone is alarming. In seeking re-election the Senator must first present her scorecard to the northern Adamawa Zone”.
