Gov. Bindow to construct cottage hospital in Mayo Belwa

Gov. Mohammed Bindow on Wednesday promised to construct a cottage hospital in Goronpawo community of Mayo Belwa Local Government Area of Adamawa.

Bindow, who made the promise during the continuation of his re-election campaign in Mayo Belwa area of Adamawa, said that his administration would continue to address salient human challenges.

He added that the administration would build more hospitals in the state if re-elected for another four-year term. “We will build more hospitals in the state by the time we are re-elected for another term.

‘‘We have already done a lot in the area of road infrastructure and will shift our attention to health and education,’’ he said. The governor urged the people to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari for another four-year term to enable him to complete all federal projects in the state.

He identified the Mayo Belwa – Tuongo federal road project as one of the many projects allocated to the state by the Federal Government. He appealed to all aggrieved All Progressives Congress (APC) members to work in harmony for the success of the party during the coming general elections.

According to him, it’s only the APC that has the potential to address Nigeria’s problems. Earlier, Chief Felix Tangwami, Director-General of the Gov. Bindow Campaign Organisation, said that the administration had achieved a lot in the area of infrastructural development.

Tangwami stated that the desire of the people had been that of getting a leader who would address the basic needs of the citizenry. He urged the electorate to vote for all APC candidates from top to the button, stressing that the incumbent governor has all the qualifications to improve on the quality of lives of the people.

“It’s has been our desire to get a leader who can perform and with all evaluation, Bindow has performed.

‘‘We do not need a new person now that can come and abandon the people-oriented projects he has started. “We cannot afford to bring a new person who will take us back to dark days because the governor has brought us out of shame,’’ he said.
