2019: Lakare/Bole Youths endorse Abdurauf Modibbo for Reps.

Five support groups for Fintiri and the PDP have endorsed APC House of rep. aspirant Abdurauf Modibbo Girei as their sole candidate for House of representative comes next week.

The groups explained that they took the decision because “after weighing all the aspirants we discovered that it was only Modibbo Girei that has the interest of Bole and Lakare community at heart.”

Speaking at a ceremony in Yola on Wednesday, Yusuf Abdullahi, the Coordinator, Grassroots Mobilisers for Fintiri, accused the PDP Administration of failing to recognize Lakare/Bole as a community in Adamawa State.

He noted that the current electricity project that is 70 percent completed is due to the singular effort of Abdurauf Modibbo that bought new 500 Kva transformer and since he has since started erecting electric poles within the community, a feat the community has not experience in all the 16 years of PDP administration in Adamawa.
