Airport to commence in Mubi soon -Bindow

Gov. Mohammed Bindow said that the construction of Mubi Domestic Airport would commence at the commencement of his second term if voted into power. Bindow made the disclosure on Saturday at his governorship re-election campaign rally held in Mubi North local government area of the state.

He appealed to them to give all the 240, 000 votes to All Progressive Congress (APC) during the elections. He explained that Senator Binta Masi-Garba who was the candidate of the party for the Adamawa Northern Senatorial District would facilitate the construction of railway line from Maiduguri through Yola to Taraba state. He announced that his candidature and other candidates of the party were projecting for people of Mubi hence the need for massive support for APC by people of the area.

Bindow also disclosed that substation of Adamawa Television would be revived to link the people with ongoing developments in the state. At the palace of Emir of Mubi, the Emir, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmadu assured the governor that the people appreciated the provision of infrastructure. Ahmadu pledged to educate his subjects on the need to elect credible leaders that would enhance development for the people.
