16 suspected kidnappers apprehended by police in Maiha-Bindow

About 16 people suspected to be kidnappers have been arrested in connection with incessant cases of kidnapping in Maiha. Gov. Mohammed Bindow made this known on Saturday at his re-election campaign rally in Mubi North local government area. According to him, this is part of government effort to check insecurity in the state.

He expressed his determination to administer a crime free Adamawa if re-elected.
The governor appreciated the support of the people and urged them to cast their votes for All Progressive Congress (APC) in coming elections.
Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, APC Chairman in the state, while receiving decampees, urged the people to give one hundred percent support to governor Bindow-led administration.

He assured them of the government’s vision to movr the state to the greater height.
Alhaji Abubakar Wambai, a one time member of the National Assembly and traditional title holder of Madawakin Mubi, appealed to people to vote for APC considering the development strides by the present APC administration at all levels. Wambai solicited the intervention of government to provide at least one boarding school in the area.

Mr Abba Ahmadu, who spoke on behalf of decampees, said their opposition to President Muhammadu Buhari and Bindow was like fighting the will of the people and God, who gives power. The governor had earlier visited the district head of Gella, Alhaji Sali Bello, where he sought prayers for the peaceful conduct of the coming elections.  The people of Gella, while receiving the governor and his entourage, presented the governor with a cow and a carmel, painted with inscription of APC
