Gov. Bindow to construct township roads in Maiha

Gov. Mohammed Bindow of Adamawa on Saturday promised to construct township roads in Maiha local government. The governor stated this while in Maiha for his re-election campaign rally, said road from Jabbi Lamba to Sarau have also been captured in the 2019 budget. He said that N5. Billion was paid for the construction of Maiha Pella road since 2007 but no progress was made, adding that the construction company had instead taken the Federal government to court.

He stressed the need for voting Senator Binta Masi-Garba and other candidates on the platform of APC that would help revoke the contract and give to a more competent company. The APC State Chairman,  Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, who received other decampees, urged the people of the area to vote Bindow, saying, he is from this area.

Bilal reminded them how the administration had impacted positively to the people of the area through rehabilitation of cottage hospital in Maiha.
Chairman of APC Stakeholders, Alhaji Ahmadu Teacher, assured the governor of total support to all candidates of the platform party.

He however, solicited government intervention in the construction of road from Mubi through Sarau to Konkol and employment of youths among others.
The governor had earlier paid homage on the District Head of Pakka, Alhaji Adamu Abubakar seeking his blessings fot his reelection bid.
