2019: Kanuri community in Adamawa endorses Governor Bindow for second term

The community of Kanuri in Adamawa state have endorsed the re-election bid of Governor Mohammed Umar Jibrilla and other candidates vying for elections of the platform of the ruling of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state. The chairman of the group, Alhaji Maina Bukar made the disclosure in his speech delivered during their courtesy visit to the Governor at government house banquet hall.  Alhaji Bukar said the community of Kanuri in the state deem it possible to show their solidarity with the Governor because of his sterling performance and achievements in less than four years of administration.

 

While reeling out some of the Governor’s achievements such as in the area of security, urban and rural development, the Chairman of the group said Kanuri community have about twenty thousand (20,000) members across the state, hence, promised the Governor that all will massively vote for APC in the forthcoming polls. In their separate remarks, Alhaji Usman  Modu and Ali Abdulrahman said the Governor has done tremendously well that deserve another time to continue with the good work he started for the state.

 

 

Responding, Governor Mohammed Umar Jibrilla, thanked them for the visit. However, Governor Bindow said his administration has achieved a lot in the state not only in the area of roads construction that is visible. Noting that he has achieved in the area of health, education and security that he did not require to go out for campaign if really the people of the state will show him appreciation by voting him back to power to enable him complete the good job he has started for the state.

Governor Bindow while praying for the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming general elections, assured the people of the state that his administration will continue to give priority to common men if given another opportunity.
