Breaking: Bindow administration has done more for Numan Federation than any other govt in Adamawa history – Samson Pwanomoho
Samson Pwanomoho, secretary, Adamawa Youth for change, says Gov. Umaru Jibrilla Bindow-led All Progressives Congress (APC) has done more for the Numan Federation than any other government in Adamawa history.
Mr. Samson made the comment on Friday, during the Southern Women and Youth gubernatorial Campaign, which was organised by Adamawa Youth for Change. “There are so many things in Southern Adamawa that speak for themselves, which Bindow brought to the area. I want to assure you that this region will deliver for Gov. Bindow, come March, 9.”
The Secretary further cited the 3.5 township road constructed by Bindow in Numan, schools’ feeding system and appointments of Numan federation sons and daughters in high place of duty. In her remarks, Jamela, women for change Intiative, urged Numan Federation to support Bindow for second term in view of the transformation agenda of the Governor that covers infrastructure and appointments of prominent sons and Daughter of Numan Federation.
“Sons and Daughters of the Numan Federation appointed by Bindow alone should make the people of Numan to vote Bindow. Adding: “That was why the government engaged more Numan Federation sons and Daughters more than any region of the State.”
She continued: “under the administration of Bindow one of the Daughters of the numan Federation, Prof. Farauta Kaleptepwa was appointed as Vice Chancellor, Adamawa State University, Mubi, Hajiya Salamatu Bala as Chairperson, governing council of Adamawa State college of Education, Hong. Mr. Felix Twangwami was appointed as the Director General of Bindow campaign Organization, Engr. Arit Lutu was appointed chairman planning commission, P.P Power was appointed as chairman Local government service commission, Geoffrey Garba was appointed permanent Secretary, ministry of finance, Kennedy Dauda was appointed as permanent secretary, ministry for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Hunoshahi Macualey was appointed as adviser media affair and as well as Dickson Martins.
Samson advice the Numan federation to stay in the main stream politics of the state not in opposition as it used to be, “I want you people to challenge the PDP each time they come to convince you, that in the three months they holds sway as acting Governor of Adamawa, how many sons and Daughters of the Numan federation was Fintiri able to give appointment to and why he fails to pay the leave grant he is using as campaign tools now? When he was acting Governor for three months.
In terms of infrastructure, Gov. Bindow renovated Villa nova secondary, Numan, renovated and equipped the General Hospital in Numan, what else again do we want the Governor to do for us in Numan federation? In aspect of the insecurity that the opposition is trying to cash into against Bindow, if I may ask why the sudden stop of the killings now in Numan? It is because those that want to make political capital out of the killings have achieved their aim. Samson call on all Sons and Daughters of the Numan federation to rally round the Governor comes next Saturday.
