Group threatens to occupy Zenith Bank, Yola Branch on Thursday to force Caleb Myebangara to resign as Branch manager

A group, Recover Adamawa Project has said that it will mobilise 2000 Adamawa civil servants to occupy the corporate office of Zenith Bank in Yola if it refuses to grant loan to effect the salary payments of workers for the month of April.

 

Coordinator of the group, Comrade Aminu Mohammed Inuwa, stated this last week when the group led a protest to Zenith Bank Abuja office.  He said their call was for Zenith Bank to either convert to political party or merge with the people’s Democratic Party in Adamawa State, so that we can know their real motive for delaying the payment of salary for the month of April.

 

“We are protesting against their operation in Adamawa. What they do here is not what they do in other states in Nigeria. We are advising Caleb Myebangara to clear on his plan to play to the gallery so that he will be appointed as commissioner for finance under Fintiri. He called on Zenith Bank headquarters to called Caleb Myebangara, the Branch manager of Zenith Bank to order by the end of tomorrow or will occupy the branch by noon tomorrow.
