I am leaving N8.1 billion for Fintiri to govern Adamawa, says Bindow

Adamawa State Governor Mohammed Jibrilla Bindow yesterday said he would leave a whopping N8 billion for his successor, Hon. Umaru Fintiri, to enable him work without initial excuses.

 

Bindow spoke through his commissioner for Finance, Sali Mahmoud disclosed this while fielding questions from newsmen in Yola. He said N8.1 billion is meant for the payment of two months salaries for State and local government workers in state.

Bindow said Adamawa state and local government two months worker’s salary is intact in Zenith Bank and UBA, it is left for Fintiri to pay the two months’ salary arrears of Adamawa workers without difficulty.
