Sack of 10,000 workers by Fintiri is wickedness, political vendetta – Group

The chairman, Adamawa united for change, Alhaji Usman Abubakar and its secretary, Yohanna Joshua has reacted to the sack of 10,000 workers recruited by Sen. Jibrilla Bindow and sacked by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, describing his action as wicked and political vendetta.

Fintiri had on Wednesday sacked over 10,000 workers recruited by Bindow since 2018 after his victory at the poll and wait patiently for Supreme Court to uphold his election and finally sacked 10,000 workers his administration was ask to stand down pending investigations by a kangaroo committee he formed as delay tactics without payment of any form of compensation or entitlement.

Reacting to this development, Usman, through his Media Aide, Salihu Michika described the development as act of wickedness and extreme degree of political vendetta.

According to him, Fintiri had only succeeded in writing his name in the history books of Adamawa as one who inflicted pains and sorrow on the people.

“Fintiri has only demonstrated the wickedness in his heart by sacking Adamawa sons and daughters who were duly employed by the state government.

“It will be on record that the APC government of Jibrilla Bindow gave jobs to over 10,000 unemployed youths in Adamawa while the PDP government of Umaru Fintiri sacked them,” a statement issued by Michika said.

The statement added that whoever applauded this show of wickedness would be reminded in future when actions of Fintiri would also be reviewed.

“As for those sons and daughters of Adamawa who have now become victims of Fintiri’s wickedness and political vendetta, they should place their hope in God and enforce their rights to seek redress in the court of law”, the statement said.
