No amount of Police can stop us – Adamawa sacked workers dares Fintiri

Association of the 10,000 workers sacked by Gov. Fintiri of Adamawa state has on Friday, declared that no amount of intimidation from Nigeria Police Force, or an agency of the state government  can stop the plan street protest schedule to hold next week.

THE FINDER gathered that Adamawa state police command has issued stern warning to the protesters to jettison their plan protest.

But, Faisal Baba, chairman of the association while reacting, insisted that it has drawn the battle line with Fintiri led Government on the plan protest next week.

The group said that no amount of state Government power can stop their protest, maintaining that the plan protest is for the Fintiri led government to rescind its decision on their sack as the plan protest is a must and paramount to the group.

“No amount of Police can stop us because we demand our reinstatement and we don’t owe anybody apology in doing this. We are here in our land and has the sense of belonging to accommodate everybody government that come in place in Adamawa, but we would not allow anybody to come here sacking workers hiding under excuse that is not tenable.

“We want to tell Fintiri led state government that the entire good people of Adamawa are behind reinstatement of the sack workers and there is no going back. No matter the threat from wherever, we are not going back down from the plan protest. We will never allow any government to come on board with plan of mass sacking of Adamawa workers. We are tired of the rising level of unemployed Adamawa youths, only for Fintiri to come on board with sack agenda.

“Adamawa is for us and for us all. Not for certain section of people.
