Pro-Bindow faults Fwa’s claim on Ex-gov; says peanut he collected responsible for his outburst.

The Bindow Media Support Group on Tuesday dismissed a statement by one renegade, Medan Zethan Fwa that Senator. Jibrilla Bindow gave appointments to more Muslims than Christians when he was the governor of Adamawa state as “baseless and unfounded allegation.”

The statement which was signed by the group’s chairman, Austin Mathias, was made available to journalists in Yola.

The group said it was shocked by Fwa’s “curious and spurious allegations”, saying that there was no time Bindow has shown favouritism in appointments of Muslims than Christian’s.

“The fellow who claimed to be a pantomath appears to have failed woefully or information mixed up somewhere. He must be confusing someone else with Bindow, we are aware he was paid to say what is saying now” the group said.

It added that Bindow has enjoyed and continues to enjoy enormous goodwill for transforming Adamawa under his watch, explaining that the 2019 election in Adamawa was a sham.

According to the statement, Bindow couldn’t have favour more Muslims when CAN leaders are much more around in the state when Bindow was the governor, the group disagree with Fwa who they claim has extreme religious views and want to disparage Bindow’s integrity due to peanut given to him to tarnish the ex-governor’s his image.

“There is nothing on ground in Adamawa now to suggest that Bindow’s record of achievements has been surpassed by the government of the day, hence some of their apologist resulted to campaign of calumny against Bindow”.

The group advised Fwa and his pay master to publish Bindow’s appointees and that of PDP appointees and see if Bindow is actually biased.

The BMSG advised Fwa and his pay master to play fair politics and avoid dragging Sen. Bindow’s name in the mud for political advantage.

It said political leaders should lead by example by living by truthfulness and avoid spreading unfair and unfounded rumours against perceived opponents.

The BMSG explained that Bindow bears no ill will towards anyone in regard to loss of Adamawa to PDP in the pursuit of his ambition, but requested the Fwa and his pay master to reciprocate that gesture by stopping the spread disinformation against Senator Bindow.
