Ibrahim Luka, chairman, Adamawa first Initiatives, has asked the PDP factional chairman in Adamawa, A.T Shehu, to resign over his alleged incompetence.

Ibrahim accused the factional chairman of running the affairs of the faction loyal to Fintiri with indiscipline and arrogance, saying Adamawa PDP cannot attain the desired height under him.

He made the accusations while reacting to comments credited to A.T Shehu in which he accused Senator Nyako of wiping up religious sentiments; he also accused Messrs Nyako and Bindow administration of total neglect of the Numan federation.

In a statement Thursday, Ibrahim said the Fintiri led state government has displayed total disregard for the entire Numan zone when the federation was enmeshed with crisis; the statement issued by the factional chairman circulating on social media has exposed A.T Shehu and Fintiri’s action of “total disrespect and disloyalty in open show of crass ignorance and incompetence in handling the communal crisis in Lamurde and other local council”.

“It is unfortunate that Mr. A.T Shehu has come to personify the disagreement between Senator Nyako and Fintiri feud, where he has wrongly misinterpreted the good governance of Fintir’s predecessors according to his whims and caprices.

“I repeat that, extreme poverty has eaten dip into A.T Shehu thinking faculty as record show he is most neglected party chairman since the return of democracy in Adamawa, as Fintiri fails to empower him as done by messrs Nyako and Bindow to their party chairmen.

“For the umpteenth time, and as canvassed in my earlier press statement, I must maintain that, in the overall interest of the future of PDP in Adamawa, and indeed, politics, generally, and for PDP to maintain its position in Adamawa come 2023, and as Fintiri led government gradually make global history of been a failure, it’s no longer a matter of discretion that, the PDP factional chairman in Adamawa, A.T Shehu should resign for the party to move forward.
