‘While Namdas Commissions Projects, Jafaru Ribadu ‘Empowers’ Youths With wooden canoes’ – Bappare

The last is yet to be heard about the controversial distribution of wooden canoes to youths in the three local governments by the member representing Yola north, Yola south and Girei in the Nigerian House of Representative as the convener Adamawa Conscience Guard (ACG), Dr. Bappare Mohammed, speaking to Journalists in Yola, has faulted the federal member, Rep. Jafaru Suleiman Ribadu over his distribution of wooden canoes to youths as part of his empowerment plans.

He said: “people are here commissioning quality constituency projects and all other development projects brought to other federal constituency of Adamawa state, in my home constituency (Yola south), they are giving out wooden canoes to empower people.

“This is not my first time to witness other federal lawmakers from the state distribute quality goods as empowerment to their people. We just witnessed how Namdaz distributed vehicles and others items to his constituents of Mayo Belwa, Ganye, Jada and Toungo; I noticed the tremendous improvement in the delivery of democracy dividends.

“When the next election comes, those that really worked do not need to bother with all manner of propaganda; these works would campaign for them.”

Rep. Jafaru Suleiman Ribadu was highly criticized by Nigerians on social media for distributing branded wooden canoes with his name among youths in the three local governments as part of his empowerment plans.
