Fintiri moves to transformed ADSU, Mubi to a world-class institution.

In keeping his promise to transform Adamawa state university, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state has begun the process of transformation of the state-owned University in Mubi.

The Governor makes the remarked during a courtesy call on him by ADSU management led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Kaleptapwa George Farauta.

Speaking, the Vice-Chancellor Prof Kaletapwa George Farauta commiserated with the governor over the unfortunate End SARS incident that led to the wanton looting and destruction of government properties in Adamawa state.

Kaletapwa expresses the appreciation of the entire university community on the prompt response of the governor at safeguarding lives and properties.

She commended the Governor for deploying security operatives around the university to prevent the hoodlums from gaining access into the campus.

The Vice-Chancellor further commended the efforts of Government at restoring normalcy in the state for law-abiding citizens to go about their lawful business.

Responding Governor Fintiri commends the Vice-Chancellor for her doggedness at surmounting the challenges facing the university.

He described prof. Farauta as a focused administrator with a strong will for positive achievements.

He asserted that “Prof Kaletapwa has worked tirelessly to solve the problems facing the university. She has solved over 60% of the problems she inherited and has not added any, because she’s a careful administrator.”

He further called on all the staff to support her to clear the remaining challenges and charged them to shun strike actions as a way of appreciating what Govt is doing despite its lean resources to enable her to do more for the institution.
