The President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government has been asked to tighten its belt to address the prevailing insecurity currently facing the country.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Zamfara State, Abdullahi Shinkafi made the call while addressing newsmen regarding the state of the Nation.
Shinkafi said no part of Nigeria is devoid of the security threats currently being faced.
He asked President Buhari to tackle the prevalent abductions, cattle rustlings, killings, and other crimes to ensure a peaceful Nigeria.
He appealed to the new service chiefs to deal decisively with anyone found with sophisticated rifles as ordered by President Buhari, as to enable peace to reign in the country.
Regarding the federal government’s no-fly zone declaration over Zamfara State, the APGA chieftain described the ban as misleading, laughable, adding that the order amounts to selective justice.
