Adamawa monarch pours encomium on Adamawa Commissioner for works, Adamu Atiku Abubakar.

The paramount ruler of Ganye chiefdom, His Royal Highness Alhaji Adamu Sanda OON, has hailed the Adamawa state commissioner for works, Adamu Atiku Abubakar, for acting swiftly in ensuring that the interest of the people of Ganye chiefdom has been attended to by the newly installed Sarduna Ganye, Adamu Atiku Abubakar since he was appointed Commissioner.

 

The monarch made the commendation when he received Adamu Atiku and his entourage in his palace in Ganye on a thank you visit after he was appointed his Sarduna Ganye a post his father, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, relinquish to the Ganye chiefdom after he was elevated with a new title of “Waziri Adamawa” by the chairman, Adamawa state traditional council, Lamido Adamawa.

 

The monarch said the Commissioner, Adamu Atiku, has tried exceedingly well in turning around the entire chiefdom’s fortune since he assumed office as the Commissioner for works Adamawa state within the shortest possible time.

 

The Governor, who is represented by his chief of staff, Prof. Maxwell Gidado, in his response, appreciated the monarch for bestowing the title of Sarduna Ganye on the younger Atiku and that he is going to discharge his duty diligently according to the dictate of his office as an adviser to the monarch.

 

The elated Atiku appreciates Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Fintiri to approve the transfer of the title from his father to him and pledge to do his best to sustain his father’s legacy.
