Rep. Dauda Nyampa Reiterates Commitment to Youth Empowerment

The member representing, Michika/Madagali federal constituency in the Nigerian House of Representative, Hon. Dauda Zakari Nyampa has reiterated his commitment to youths’ empowerment in Michika/Madagali federal constituency, saying that nations will fare better and the world will be more peaceful and secure if attention is given to the empowerment of youths through skills acquisition.

 

Nyampa, in an interview with our correspondent in Yola, Adamawa state capital, said that his vision for the youth and his unshaken commitment to them is in tandem with that of the Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state.

 

He said the vision is that “The active engagement of youth in sustainable development efforts is central to achieving sustainable, inclusive and stable societies…”.

 

The member, who commended the Governor of Adamawa State, Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri, for his particular attention to skills acquisition for youths of the state through various channels like the (Education for Employment) programme, the vigorous promotion of MSMEs etc. promised that “his office will continue to work in close collaboration with the Adamawa state government to explore ways of further promoting youth empowerment and skills acquisition for the mutual benefit of all stakeholders”.
