Umar Ardo, Grace Bent are moles in PDP; as his agent abandon him in every contest he participated in Adamawa -A.T Shehu

War of words between the Adamawa state chapter chairman of the people’s democratic party and the “suspended” faction chairman of the RPDP, Umar Ardo is far from over as the party listed Umar Ardo and Grace Bent a former Senator as moles planted in the party to cause ripples, but thank God their Judas Iscariot character has been exposed to the public glare.

While describing the suspended RPDP as moles in the party, the State Chairman, A.T Shehu, on Saturday told The Finder that the party is not moved by the series of attack and ranting from Ardo and co.

Shehu said: “The suspended faction chairman and Grace Bent are good riddances to bad rubbish.”

The Finder report that Dr Umar Ardo has penultimate Tuesday attacked, Gov. Fintiri of Adamawa state for calling stakeholders meeting without extending an invitation to himself and two others.

Shehu said: “Those that are making noise are lone rangers who cannot command 10 supporters in their various wards. Umar Ardo as you know is a serial contestant in the party and it is a known fact that he is unpopular Abuja politicians.

“They are moles who are finding their ways out of the party. All these while they have not shown any serious interest in the affairs of the party. Umaru Ardo, has only one vote, in all the election he has contested in Adamawa, we were receiving thousands of defectors into our party. Is this a gain or loss? We lost one and gained thousands.

“With Ardo working against our party in the last general election, it showed that they had their interest somewhere else. And without any reservations, I call them moles. And this is a good radiance to bad rubbish.”

While describing the defectors as unpopular politicians, Shehu added: “After every election, they will return to Abuja where they come from.

“If you lose an Abuja-based politician you have not lost anything, their defection has not created any gap within our party.

“We are not losing sleep over their decamping, our national secretariat is not interested because they have better things to do than think of one person leaving the party.

“Barely 24 hours after Umar Ardo was suspended, the PDP received thousands of youths, women and former supporters of the dead RPDP from his local government. Is that the type of person you want me to worry about?”

The chairman asked the party’s supporters to remain focussed “and refuse to be distracted by the action of a few people”.
