2023: Coalition endorses Bala Hussaini for Mubi North, South and Maiha Federal constituency.

A coalition of youth organisations has urged Bala Hussaini to contest a member representing Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha Federal constituency in 2023 because of his sterling leadership qualities.

Muhammad Ibrahim, Director-General of the coalition, said this at a news conference in Yola on Tuesday.

Mr Ibrahim said that the call was imperative as over 15 million Nigerian youths and women have signed a letter requesting Bala Hussaini to contest for House of Reps.

He said that the briefing was to sensitise Mubi North, South and Maiha on the need to kick start discussions on Bala’s qualities ahead of the 2023 poll.

He said the current member representing the three local government in the green chamber has failed in the mandate given to him, and therefore he should forget 2023.

Mr Nihi said that the people needed a dynamic, forward-looking, and experienced leader like Bala in 2023 to tackle challenges confronting the three local governments.

“Bala has what it takes to provide purposeful leadership and good governance if elected as member representing Mubi North, South and Maiha Federal constituency in 2023 general elections.

“He will offer exemplary leadership because he is interested in the good of the people. The BHG Youth Movement is not a selfish plan but an effort to project and market Bala to the people ahead of 2023.

“We have searched the length and breadth of Mubi North, South and Maiha and found that Bala will perform well if elected into the exalted office.

“We believe that he is a good brand that we can sell; we urge all of you to take the message to Mubi, Maiha, that we have found a replacement to Jarfar in 2023.

“He should come out and offer himself for the leadership of the three local councils in the green chamber, we are calling on him to do this within 14 days,” he said.
