Congress: Ishaku Abbo’s inordinate ambition will tear APC apart if the congress is not favourable to him; Group warns national leadership
The chairman, Adamawa United for change, Alhaji Usman Abubakar, has warned the national secretariat of the All progressive congress APC to expel Ishaku Abbo from the party now as his body language and his recent Facebook post suggest that he only decamped to the party to contest for governor in 2023.
The recent antecedent of Abbo shows that he will put down every structure that does not work in his favour as the group warn him to stop acts that were capable of plunging the All progressive congress, APC, into crisis.
Usman also said Abbo is a mole and a liability in the APC, adding that he would try his best to bring the party down if the upcoming ward, local, and state congress did not favour him.
While responding to some issues raised by Abbo in a recent Facebook post, the Group in Yola allege that Abbo claim to have met with a former governor of Adamawa state, Senator Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, and it was agreed that the upcoming congress would be free and fair.
However, Usman, while responding, stated that the upcoming congress of the party in Adamawa would not be conducted nor supervised by Bindow nor Ishaku Abbo as his outburst shows that he will repeat the same fight he picked with Gov. Fintiri before he was edge out of PDP lest he destroyed the party.
“Abbo recent actions and Facebook post is capable of inciting trouble in the party, as we understand that if he fails to acquire more delegates than others, he will result in blackmail and propaganda against the party.
Usman noted that Abbo antecedent shows he can pick a fight with the party if the coming congress did not favour him.
Usman said Abbo lacked the capacity to lead the APC to victory in Adamawa because of his alleged woeful performance in the senate.

It was an evening of laughter and brotherliness as I visited His Excellency Senator Bindow Umaru Jibrilla (BUJ) the Senator Representing Adamawa North in the 7th Senate and the 7th Civilian Governor of Adamawa state.
We discussed extensively on the just concluded APC membership revalidation and registration Exercise in Adamawa state where our local Government area (Mubi North) came first.
